Installing the widget
Add the calculator to your site
Paste this where you want the calculator to appear (get your key from the dashboard):

My platform blocks scripts (Squarespace Personal, some Wix plans)
Use the iframe embed instead. Same widget, no JavaScript required. Your dashboard's Install page provides both snippets and tells you which your platform needs.
Multiple calculators on one page
Supported. The loader also survives single-page-app and page-builder re-rendering.
Strict Content-Security-Policy?
Add our hosts to your CSP (script-src, connect-src, and frame-src for iframe mode). If the loader can't reach us, it logs a clear console warning with a docs link, visible to your developer, invisible to visitors.
Cookies / consent banners
The widget sets no cookies and does no cross-site tracking, so it's exempt from most cookie-consent gating.
Branding & leads
My branding change isn't showing
Config is edge-cached; changes propagate within about 5 minutes. Wait and hard-refresh.
Lead emails going to spam? Do this first.
Add noreply@mail.pitiwidget.com to your safe senders. Outlook and Yahoo in particular filter mail from any new sending domain aggressively, no matter how it is configured. A lead alert sitting in your spam folder is a lead you never see, so this is worth two minutes on your first day.
- Outlook / Hotmail: Settings (under Home on the ribbon in the desktop app) → Mail → Junk email → under “Safe senders and domains” add
noreply@mail.pitiwidget.com. If a lead alert is already in Junk, open it and choose “Not junk” as well. - Gmail: open a lead alert, click the three dots, and choose “Filter messages like these” → Create filter → tick “Never send it to Spam”.
- Yahoo: add
noreply@mail.pitiwidget.comto your Contacts (Settings → Contacts → Add, or open a lead alert and add the sender from it). Yahoo has no safe-sender list, and its filters cannot deliver to the Inbox, so Contacts is the equivalent. If an alert is already in Spam, open it and choose “Not spam”. - Apple Mail, or a work address: add the sender to your contacts. On a company mail server your IT administrator may need to allow the address.
Whatever your mail provider does, no lead is ever lost. Every lead is recorded in your dashboard under Leads, where you can also export the full history as a spreadsheet. Email is a convenience, not the record.
If you would rather not depend on email at all, set an outbound webhook under Leads and leads go straight into your CRM, Zapier, or whatever you already use, the moment they arrive.
Verify your install
Use the “Verify my installation” button in the dashboard. It fetches your page and reports whether the snippet or iframe was found.
Subscription & billing
The calculator never breaks your page. By state:
- Active / Past due (grace): full features, your branding.
- Lapsed / canceled: calculator still works; branding reverts to “Powered by”; lead capture and the live feed are disabled.
- Invalid key: a generic unbranded calculator.
Is this financial advice?
No. The calculator provides estimates for informational purposes only, not a loan offer or pre-qualification. It never collects SSN or income.
